If the kids have begged to put some stickers on the fridge, but you refused because you didn’t want them to leave that terrible residue, this is the craft for you. Turn any sticker into a magnet with this quick and easy DIY!
What You Need
- Sticker sheet
- 5/8″ hole punch
- Hot glue gun
- Magnet (adhesive)
- Silicone mat
Step One: Begin by cutting small circles out of the stickers you’d like to stick on your refrigerator with the 5/8″ hole punch.
Step Two: Squeeze a pea-sized amount of hot glue directly on to the silicone mat.
Step Three: Working quickly, place the sticker (face up) in the middle of the hot glue.
Step Four: Use the eraser on the pencil to gently press the sticker into the glue. Let cool.
Step Five: The glue should easily peel off the mat. Stick the adhesive magnet to the back side, and your magnet is complete!
You can unstick the magnet easily, so you can make and re-make sticker magnets as the mood strikes you.
