If your garden still isn’t geeky enough, you’ve come to the right place! It might not be Dagobah, but Yoda should feel right at home with the plants and mud when he takes up residence in your garden.
What You Need
- Small or medium clay flower pot
- Green and black acrylic paint
- Green craft foam
- Hot glue gun
- Paint brushes
Begin by painting the flower pot with the green acrylic paint. You may need two coats if you choose a lighter green color, like I did.
While the paint is drying, cut the green foam into two pieces. Draw a teardrop-shaped ear on the foam, and cut the two ears out simultaneously.
When the paint is completely dry, use a pencil to draw Yoda’s eyes, nose, and mouth. I went for the simple, cute look, but feel free to make Yoda look as old and wise as you’d like.
When you’re ready, use the black paint over the pencil to add his features. Allow the black paint to completely dry.
Next, use the hot glue gun to attach Yoda’s ears to either side of the flower pot.
Ready, your Yoda flower pot is!
